The move to 5G is the biggest development looming over the mobility market looking forward, but it is far from the only one. Wi-Fi standards continue to advance with Wi-Fi 6, and a number of companies are planning low earth orbit satellite networks with thousands of satellites extending Internet access to virtually every corner of the globe.
All of this presents opportunities and challenges for enterprises aiming to enhance business-to-employee (B2E) applications like UC&C and team collaboration, or to bolster the effectiveness of their B2C efforts. In addition, 5G’s emphasis on Internet of Things (IoT) could take those customer interactions may far beyond phone calls, text and email.
In this session, we will review the most significant developments on the mobility front and consult a panel of mobility experts to get their views of where, how and why they see mobility impacting their product and service offerings over the next three years.
* A thorough understanding of what the next wave of mobile developments will bring * A potential roadmap for how mobile capabilities can be implemented to improve both B2E and B2C engagement * A better understanding of the realities and limitations of these new offerings and the issues that will impact their potential * A vision of what this new mobile environment will entail and what areas hold the greatest potential for serving users and engaging customers.
