Enabling frontline workers to be more effective using modern communications/collaboration has become a major new focus in our industry, and besides advancing the enterprise, this focus also represents a great opportunity for IT to lead in a new area of business transformation. There are three models for implementing frontline communications: Using collaboration capabilities already built into a business application or solution; using features of your enterprise communications platform; or integrating/embedding communications into the business software via APIs and other tool sets. In this session we will discuss these three options, the differences, when they apply and how to choose, as well as discussing how to work with the business owners and the technology to deliver strategic transformation for your business.
