Is There a Case for a UC/Contact Center On-Prem or Private Cloud Strategy?

With notable large-scale public cloud outages in the past year, what are enterprises to do? Might it make sense to keep some or all of your UC or CC on premises, or in a private cloud instead of multi-tenant, to keep control of the resiliency you require? And how complex might it be to try and re-create your business processes if you move to the cloud? With less than half the installed base of contact centers now in the cloud, enterprises are clearly approaching the subject with caution. Even in the case of UC, some enterprises are finding decreased urgency to migrate post-pandemic. So should you consider on-prem or private cloud as your long-term strategy? What might the risks be if you don't move to UCaaS and/or CCaaS in the next 12 to 24 months? In this session, a veteran consultant with deep experience in strategic decisions around cloud migration will share ideas and help you understand whether the cloud should be a given for your enterprise.
