For many organizations, the ability to standardize on one, and only one, team collaboration application isn’t possible. Workgroups may have already established process integration into existing apps that would be difficult or expensive to migrate. Teams may need to use additional applications to communicate and collaborate with partners, suppliers, and customers. In this session, we'll look at the current landscape for team collaboration, provide guidance for best practices for consolidating apps and supporting multiple apps, and discuss the governance, security, and management issues that IT leaders should be aware of as they develop applications policies and strategies.
