Mike Bourke is a proven leader in SaaS and premise-based enterprise software with most of his recent experience focused on driving the business and product vision, marketing, go to market, strategic partnerships, and relevant M&A strategies to grow revenues. He has built and managed high performing teams across sales, marketing, product management, and professional services. Mike joined Five9 in 2019 as the SVP of Products, where he is focusing on growing the addressable market for Five9, which includes leading the recently acquired Whendu and Virtual Observer business lines. Before coming to Five9, Mike was part of the executive leadership team at Aspect, where he held roles as the SVP and General Manager of the Workforce Optimization business line and as the SVP of Product and Strategy. Mike had P&L responsibility for the $120mil WFO business and led the business through a transformation to the cloud. During this transition, the business also saw a significant growth in bookings and was named Global WFO Company of the Year by Frost and Sullivan for 2016-17.
Prior to Aspect, Mike was the Global Practice Director for the Contact Center WFO business at Verint and had P&L responsibility for the $400 Million business line. Prior, he held Product Management leadership roles and drove both organic innovation and expansion into adjacent markets through M&A. Earlier in his career, Mike held leadership and individual contributor roles in Professional Services, including managing the Solutions Delivery Consulting team, and a variety of positions in consulting, project management, training, technical implementation services, and engineering. Through his career, Mike has worked with more than 600 businesses primarily focusing on their contact center operations.
Mike holds a B.S. in Engineering from LMU and an M.Eng. from MIT where he studied mathematical modeling and optimization techniques in Environmental Engineering. Over his career, Mike has been named as an inventor on more than 30 patents and patent applications in the field of Workforce Optimization.
