Albert Kooiman is the Senior Director of Microsoft Teams Partner Engineering and Certification in Microsoft. His team works with a broad range of leading hardware OEMs and ISVs in the market to create great calling and meeting devices and experiences.
He has over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications and speech technology industry, has been a driver of innovation in communications and speech enabled solutions by building scalable developer platforms for unified communications, both on-premises and in the cloud, and helped build and introduce to the market Microsoft’s unified communications developer platform and the next generation of room systems and other certified devices for Microsoft’s unified communications products.
Albert holds a Master’s Degree of the Medical Faculty of the University of Amsterdam, where he specialized in Medical Informatics. He started his career in the field of Hospital Information Systems and Medical Statistics.
