Prior to Otter.ai, Sam was the CEO and Co-Founder of Alohar Mobile which created the world's first mobile location context platform which was acquired by Alibaba. Prior to Alohar Mobile Sam led the Google Map Location Platform & API team for four years.
Sam received his Ph.D. in EE from Stanford University, specializing in large scale distributed Internet systems.
