Scott Plette, Principal Group Program Manager, Microsoft
Scott Plette is Principle Group Product Manager for Calling in Microsoft Teams. He has been at Microsoft for more than 25 years on large number of different products including Windows Media DRM, Windows, Lync, Skype, and now Teams. Scott leads the product management team responsible for calling experiences in Teams, working with customers and teammates to identify and drive the specification and development of new functionality that reimagines calling for the modern workplace. Prior to joining Microsoft and moving to Washington, Scott worked at multiple startups in his home state of California, where he also graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a BA in Physics. He lives with his wife and two sons in the Seattle area, and spends his free time riding his snowboard, teaching himself guitar, and shouting from the sidelines of his sons’ soccer games.
