Jeanne SpinosaManager, TelecommunicationsBrown University

Jeanne Spinosa’s current role is Telecommunications Manager for Brown University. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the voice network across Brown’s 285 buildings and 5000 landline devices. Brown University is in the final stages of a 5-year transition from a Nortel/Avaya TDM platform to a Cisco VoIP platform. In addition, Jeanne is responsible for Brown’s radio infrastructure and contract negotiations for all things telephony-related.

Jeanne has 40 years of business and technology experience, as both vendor and customer. She began her career with ROLM-New England and has worked for Prime Computer, The Info Group (now Anchor Point), Fidelity Investments, Salve Regina University, the State of Rhode Island and Johnson & Wales University.

Jeanne has a BA in Psychology from Brown University and various technical and management certificates.

In her spare time, Jeanne enjoys singing, playing the cello, swimming, gardening and spending time with her husband at their home on an island in the middle of Narragansett Bay.
