Richard St-Jean, Sr. SFS Product Manager, Intrado
Richard has been involved in public safety for over 15 years. He is responsible for the E911 for VoIP product line at Intrado. His customer base ranges from Tier 1 carriers to enterprises needing to route 911 calls and comply to the RAY BAUM act and Kari’s law. Richard’s passion for public safety has translated into developing a leading E911 portfolio at Intrado with over 100 million subscribers.
Richard previously held senior product management responsibilities at Cassidian, now Motorola Solution, driving the consolidation of the Call Handling portfolio to a full VoIP solution including next generation call routing and dispatch applications for the European market. Richard has participated in various NENA working groups, advancing the standards for the next generation PSAP and additional data repositories. His career began in Telecom and was involved in the early days of computer telephony and contact centers. He holds multiple patents and worked with Intel and Microsoft during the inception of the now ubiquitous USB specifications and ports, eventually getting an award for the first USB connected business phone. Richard has also led the launch of many other innovative products such as the first speech enabled auto-attendant and the early use of video analytics for banking and retail applications.
