Rishi VaishVice President, IBM Watson WorkIBM

Rishi Vaish is the Vice President for Watson Work, IBM's next generation, cognitive collaboration platform and its API ecosystem. He returns to IBM from Oracle, where he was VP of Product Management and Development for the Oracle Cloud Platform responsible for Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Industry Solutions and go-to-market. Prior to Oracle, Rishi served as VP of Product for RightScale, the leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Cloud Management and Brokering platform where he led product strategy, product roadmap, and customer experience, positioning the company and product for the fast-growing enterprise segment. During Rishi's previous tenure at IBM he held the position of CTO for Cloud Integration, where he led the vision, strategy and architecture for a suite of hybrid cloud integration, API management and mobile products in the WebSphere portfolio. Before joining IBM, he was the Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at Cast Iron Systems (acquired by IBM). He has also served in senior engineering roles at other venture-backed startups. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, India and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
