Scott Wharton, Vice President and General Manager, Video Collaboration, Logitech
Scott Wharton is the Vice President and General Manager of Logitech Video Collaboration. Scott joined Logitech in 2015. Under Scott’s leadership, Logitech Video Collaboration has experienced double-digit growth year-over-year and is one of the company’s fastest growing businesses.
Scott has more than 20 years of experience in the B2B communications space. Prior to Logitech, he founded Vidtel, a pioneer in cloud-based any-to-any video conferencing services. Vidtel was the first to connect high-end video systems (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, LIfesize) with consumer-based systems such as Skype, Google and WebRTC. Vidtel was acquired in 2013.
Scott has also held executive roles at BroadSoft and VocalTec Communications. In the late 1990s, he also spearheaded numerous groundbreaking initiatives, including the development of the first commercial VoIP product and the creation of the VoIP service provider industry.
Scott holds an M.B.A from Yale University.
