Mark Collier, Chief Technology Officer, SecureLogix Corporation
Mark Collier is Chief Technology Officer for SecureLogix, where he manages technology research, security threat profiling, and solution architecture. Collier actively performs voice/VoIP/UC security and call trust research, particularly in the areas of call spoofing, phone number reputation, branded calls, authentication, robocalls, and Telephony Denial of Service (TDoS). Previously, Collier managed the SecureLogix engineering team and directed development of the company’s initial voice security product lines.
Mark is a 25+ year software and cyber security industry veteran. Over the past 10 years, Collier has been a lead contract researcher on behalf of SecureLogix for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on a host of call security and trust related projects. Some of his work has focused on call security issues in critical voice environments including financial CX services and Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1 emergency response centers. Collier is currently leading DHS-sponsored research into AI-generated threats to critical voice environments, including advanced spoofing and deep fake detection.
Mr. Collier is a recognized security expert and author, having written several editions of Hacking Exposed: VoIP (2006) and Hacking Exposed: UC and VoIP (2013). He is a regularly-invited speaker at industry conferences, including Enterprise Connect, SIPNOC, Black Hat and CFCA.
