BJ McClure is a senior IT and workplace technology leader with more than 30 years of experience driving large‑scale technology operations and service excellence across global financial services organizations. At TIAA, BJ leads the teams responsible for the end‑to‑end associate technology experience, spanning IT Service Desk operations, desktop support and engineering, telecommunications, unified collaboration platforms such as Microsoft and Zoom, ServiceNow, and 24x7 production support covering ITSM, Change, Problem, Release, and infrastructure operations.
BJ’s work sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and human experience. His teams serve as the front line of IT for thousands of associates while also ensuring the reliability and resilience of critical enterprise platforms. Since joining TIAA just ahead of the global pandemic, BJ has partnered closely with business and technology leaders to rapidly evolve workplace and collaboration capabilities—enabling flexible, modern ways of working while strengthening service reliability and operational maturity.
