John Akerboom, Senior Director, Cloud Architecture and Design, Avaya
John Akerboom leads the Avaya cloud architecture and solution design teams, which support development and design of key Avaya cloud solutions, including Avaya Experience Platform and Avaya Enterprise Cloud. He is responsible for the technical delivery of Avaya Enterprise Cloud, supporting the creation of reference architecture, infrastructure and application automation, and the overall orchestration pipeline. With over 25 years of enterprise technology experience, including building the AWS Enterprise Solutions Architecture team for the Americas, John has successfully applied cloud principles in his work at Avaya to deliver more flexible, agile demo experiences, and accelerated delivery of key services using industry standard automation like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
