Carlos Aragon, Sr. Director, Product Marketing, Applications, Vonage
Carlos Aragon is the Sr. Director of Applications Product Marketing at Vonage. He has extensive experience in mobile and fixed-line Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C and UCaaS), Contact Center (CCaaS), mobile messaging, Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) APIs and WebRTC solutions.
With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, he started his career in a technical support engineering role for Ericsson; supporting 2G/3G switching, intelligent networks and GPRS. In 2000 he joined Nortel, where he held pre-sales and global product marketing responsibilities for Wireless Packet Core, IMS and Multimedia Applications. In 2010 Carlos transferred to GENBAND as part of their Nortel acquisition (and then Ribbon Communications as part of their merger with Sonus Networks), where he led the marketing of Cloud and Platform-as-a-Service offers. He joined Mavenir in 2018 leading the go-to-market for mobile-native UCaaS, RCS Business Messaging, Messaging-as-a-Platform (MaaP) and growing responsibilities across their entire portfolio of enterprise and carrier solutions. In 2023 he completed the cycle by joining Vonage, part of Ericsson, to lead product marketing for UCaaS and CCaaS as well as UC&CC CSP resell initiatives to help mobile network operators bring innovative solutions for the enterprise of the future.
Carlos Aragon holds a bachelor's degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
