I have been in Telecommunications since 1989, with King & Spalding the whole time. When I started at the firm, we had two offices in the US. We have since opened offices around the world, moved each of the offices at least once, some more than once, moved from AT&T to Lucent Technologies, to Avaya, then a brief stint with Nortel, and eventually to Cisco Call Manager, and most recently to Cloud based Cisco Calling. The Telecom industry is almost unrecognizable from the time I started. It was cutting edge back then to have a display bar with caller ID for outside calls! I have been very lucky to grow with the firm and the industry, and still love the work I do. It isn't always easy, but there is always something new and interesting.
