Brian Harrison, Chief Technology Officer, Broward College
Brian Harrison is a seasoned IT veteran with over 30 years of technology leadership experience in South Florida. In Harrison's current position as Chief Technology Officer for Broward College, he oversees all aspects of cloud computing, network services, telecom, helpdesk, audio visual and enterprise applications. Prior to joining Broward College, Harrison held senior technology positions throughout several industries. His background includes Director of Technology Services for Ultimate Software, Vice President of Systems and Production Support for Team Focus Insurance Group, Director of Technology at Arise Virtual Solutions, Director of IT Operations at JM Family Enterprises, Vice President of Infrastructure at AutoNation, and Computer Operations Manager at Federated Department Stores (Macy's). A passionate believer in "no time for down time", the common theme throughout Harrison's career has always been to ensure optimal system performance and availability. Having led numerous data center consolidations and cloud migrations, Harrison successfully delivered operational efficiencies, cost reductions and service level improvements.
Harrison holds a Master of Computer Science degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from City University of New York.
