Kristina Russell, Assistant VP of Telecommunication Services, MedStar Health
Kristina Russell is the Assistant Vice President of Telecommunication Services at MedStar Health. She has been working with the Telecommunications team at MedStar Health for 5 years, and held previous IT roles as Project Manager and Implementation Specialist during her 14 year tenure at MedStar Health. Kristina has a Bachelor of Science from University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University. During her tenure on the Telecommunications team, Kristina has developed a strategic roadmap and plan to upgrade over 45,000 communication endpoints as well as assisted in the strategic planning and implementation of an enterprise level project to standardize nursing communication platforms and devices. Medstar Health is a $7.3 billion not-for-profit regional healthcare provider in Maryland, DC, and Virginia and one of the largest employers in the region. Medstar Health has 10 nationally respected hospitals, over 300 patient care locations, 5400 physicians, 8000 nurses, and over 30,000 associates.
