Joe Smyth, SVP of R&D, Digital & AI, Genesys
Joe Smyth is SVP of R&D at Genesys. He leads a team of engineers and AI experts in building Conversational & Predictive AI and Digital Messaging for the Genesys Cloud platform. Joe is a veteran of the Customer Care and Unified Communications industry, having previously worked in Nortel (now Avaya) and Cisco. In 2013 he co-founded Altocloud, a digital customer engagement platform bridging Web Interactions to Customer Care with AI at its core. Altocloud was acquired in 2018 by Genesys.
