Neil Boland, Senior Vice President, Technology & Chief Information Security Officer , Major League Baseball (MLB)
Neil Boland is Senior Vice President, Technology as well as Chief Information Security Officer at Major League Baseball (MLB). In his role, Neil has built comprehensive, league-wide programs in the areas of workforce and event technologies, infrastructure, and information/cyber security.
Those programs showcase Neil and the league's efforts to effectively converge leading and emerging technologies while also advancing security, privacy, compliance objectives. In addition to servicing MLB's core businesses, Neil's teams support the 30 MLB Clubs and other MLB properties such as Tickets.com. Further, the teams' solution portfolios have been sought after and made available to Club parent companies and other interested organizations.
Prior to joining MLB, Neil was Managing Partner of E2, a technology and security consultancy that focused on unique and challenging projects across a diverse range of industries. Before E2, Neil worked in senior roles at two startups and at a large management consulting firm.
In addition to MLB, Neil is an active advisory board member for a number of organizations including Okta, Palo Alto Networks, and Zoom.
